Louise Brooks, "Less than the Dust"

The February 1928 issue of Motion Picture Classic featured a series of photographs of silent film star Louise Brooks based on Laurence Hope's poem:  "A tragedy of India is brought to picturesque life. Louise Brooks illustrates one of the Indian Love Lyrics of Laurence Hope, which Amy Woodforde-Finden has set to music."
